Range of Representation - Cat: From Photographic to Abstract

I currently have an orange cat, so the first thing I did was a search for a photograph that was a realistic image with a white background and looked like my cat. Then I got a blank sheet of paper and a pencil and made a grid, so I could easily draw the same cat. Next, I take a picture of my hand drawing and start designing a vector drawing using Adobe Illustrator. After that, I did the same to make an image with geometric shapes. Finally, I searched for cat fonts, found a great one with fingerprints in the middle of each letter, and used them to create the word “cat” in the final image. My favorite image was the vector drawing because I enjoyed making it.

Choose an image and tell me: What do you see? What associations or connotative meanings did it bring up for you?

Thanks!
