Big Order Delivery

Big Order Delivery: To make sure our customers receive a better experience, we encourage restaurants to add extra preparation time and request additional delivery partners or cabs for the Big/Large order.

Problem statement: In the current flow, when there are big orders (categorized by high OV or quantity of items) that require two riders instead of one. Rider contact support for an additional rider and the support agents validate the request by examining the order size and assigning an additional rider, which takes time.

There are two cases when complaints are being raised against big orders, and customers have a dissatisfactory experience.

  • When only one rider delivers the order, spillages and other quality issues may occur.

  • If the rider cannot handle the food after it is ready, they contact support, resulting in food delays (because it will take time for a buddy rider to arrive)

Solution: With our new feature, merchants can analyze order value and quantities and can request an additional delivery partner while accepting big orders and within a short time a buddy rider will be assigned according to the request.
