Personal Site: Work in Progress

I recently got some photos back from being developed. They were fun to shoot and look at, but I wanted to find a better place for them.

I wanted to make a place that could contain what I'm shooting while I'm living in San Francisco and traveling. I recently made a post on Exposure — my first! — but don't want to have to write a narrative each time.

I'm just starting to explore what a photo-driven site could look like for me. A part of me thinks I'll have to upload more work, both design work and photographs, which wouldn't be the worst thing as a forcing function. I tend to think this looks very trendy, so we'll see where the direction ends up.

Shown (full view viewable) is a shot I took on Ektar 100 film at sunset at Ocean Beach while my brothers were visiting last year. There's a pastel purple to transparent gradient as a text knockout above the image, but the photo isn't modified otherwise.
