The client
Summit Interconnect is a leading manufacturer of printed circuit boards in North America. Their advanced technology factories are focused on complex rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs. Throughout their eight manufacturing locations and global sourcing services, they provide a total solution from prototype to volume production. Summit is an industry leader in quick-turn manufacturing and has expertise with a wide range of materials including high-speed digital, RF, and mixed constructions.
The challenge
Summit came to us for a revamp of their logo, color, and overall branding. They were looking for a brand refresh and something new and exciting to take over Summit’s look and feel. They wanted to ensure their values were showcased through their branding and keep something close to their previous logo.
The solution
Once we had a strong comprehension of what goals Summit wanted from these branding guidelines, we began working. We focused on four main objects: logo, typography, color palette, and correlating graphic components. Taking into account the different design needs from Summit’s team, we were able to come to a conclusion involving all the components.
The result
After a 3 month sprint, we were able to deliver a complete branding deck. This deck included a magnitude of details including full logo spectrum, typography hierarchy, different allowable color combinations, and graphic components. We are so happy with the results and can’t wait to see where Summit takes their brand!
