What is an Imprint

This is an illustration initially made for an article about imprints. I secretly enjoy taking care of these small covers that appear in many of my illustrations for Reedsy. It's also a homage to previous images, including a couple of the first ones I made for Reedsy ✍

The concept behind this one was that big publishers 'play' with published books, distributing them throughout their different imprints, depending on the genre or characteristics of the work.
