Hexagonal repeat pattern
I've been playing with repeat patterns a lot lately. This one uses sixfold rotational symmetry, with a hexagonal repeat unit tiled on a beehive grid.
The base motif (or base Figma component) is an extremely simple triangle. It's really fun/mind-bending to see how changes to the base motif affect the whole composition.
I'll share more patterns that use the same underlying structure, but if you're into that sort of things, check out this Medium post I wrote on the topic. It includes a Figma file in case you want to try it yourself :)
