Conversion optimized website for BASWA Acoustic

BASWA acoustic stands for the highest standards in room acoustics, produces acoustic high-end solutions for rooms and areas of all sizes and markets them worldwide.

In order to meet the high demands in terms of innovative strength also digitally and to reflect the constant further development with a contemporary website, BASWA has commissioned us with the redesign of the corporate website in the fall of 2019. The focus of the work: to develop a forward-looking and brand-compliant design that simultaneously enables a conversion-oriented user experience for B2B and B2C.

Common Challenge

BASWA acoustic has already made a name for itself as a pioneer in the field of aesthetic and versatile acoustic solutions. The high quality and uniqueness of their solutions were to be credibly conveyed through an appropriate user interface design. In addition, it was important to explain the complex system logic by means of supporting functions and to support users in their decision-making.

Since BASWA acoustic's solutions are suitable for both B2B and B2C customers, it was also very important to resolve the heterogeneous user needs and knowledge levels via content, interaction elements and the site structure.

Smart search functions, the direct assignment of the appropriate contact person or elements such as the sample order, force lead generation several times within the customer journey.

In order to make the brand tangible in the texts as well, corporate wording was developed that picks up on both the B2B and B2C target groups.

πŸ–Œ High aesthetic standards

In accordance with the corporate design, a light and at the same time high-quality user interface design was developed, which conveys the characteristics of the BASWA systems and appeals to the visually demanding target group.

System configurator

The modular BASWA system is incredibly versatile and individually configurable. Choosing the right system without personal consultation is only feasible in rare cases. Therefore, the configurator logic was only used as a vehicle for user guidance. In this way, the individual requirements can be specified, the system logic explained and the assignment of the appropriate consultation made possible. The advantage: The subsequent consultation can thus be directly linked to the requirements and simplify the internal sales processes.

System finder

Due to the very different levels of knowledge and experience of the users with the BASWA systems, it was very important to also create a quick access for the more experienced users that meets their requirements. This is how the system finder was created, which presents suitable system combinations on the basis of just a few specifications. The information can be further specified and adjusted on the results page.

Contact

BASWA acoustic has a multi-layered sales structure and optimal contact persons for each region. In order to ensure the correct allocation already on the website, to optimize internal processes and thus to enable the best customer experience for the user, a smart filtering was implemented that aims exactly at this goal.

The resulting, very sophisticated and high-quality user interface design was implemented based on Twig & VueJS in the frontend and the content management system WordPress. Customer wishes for the handling of the backend were requested and implemented during the project process.
