The Samuel Ryder Hotel - Iconography

The Samuel Ryder Hotel is in St. Albans, England. It’s a part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. I illustrated a series of icons for the hotel, in collaboration with Aylott + Van Tromp, the agency behind the hotel's branding and interior. 

Samuel Ryder was a golf legend but with the iconography, we also paid tribute to his other endeavors including dog breeding, education, and his gardening seeds company. St. Albans' rich and varied history also provided inspiration for the icons.

The sketches were drawn on vellum, brought into Procreate, and drawn with clean line work.
