Dribble x Tumblr Icon Re-design

Tumblr is known for it's 90's internet explorer energy, with the ability to customise your page in terms of font colour, typeface and over-all aesthetic (it reminds of ye' old MySpace in a contemporary timeline).

With this brief the aim was to bring homage to that wholesome feel one got when the internet was still vast and unexplored, whilst maintaining the established effervescent energy that Tumblr has become known for.

Vintage meets a modern expression with this new app icon by combining vector with brush textures to create that familiar look of a warn analog key. Click, click, click.
