Detail.co

Had the opportunity to help build the first corner stone for Detail.co, a beautiful playful word-mark.

Have made a small breakdown to show how this particular concept iteration is built:

1. To get a sense of the interaction between the letterforms, I start by making a skeleton sketch.

2. With the skeleton in place, the next step is to add weight, depth and details to the letterforms. Before going digital, it is good to review and note potential improvements.

3. Instead of re sketching, I find it easier to transfer it to Illustrator and edit all the points of interest.

4. At this stage, many optical adjustments are made. Next to a few final touches to add extra depth to the letterforms, the overall line work has been looked at several times to make sure no visual errors occur.
