Ghibli Inspired 3D Matte Painting Environment

Here is a 3D Matte Painting environment piece inspired by ghibli background artworks. I really like how those large trunks turned out. Used some metaballs for the trunks themselves and particle scattering for the grass and moss. I think the trick to ghibli inspired artworks is the color of the shadows.
