SLUG Mag Cover

SLUG Mag is a local SLC institution. A free magazine that's available all over town covering music, arts, culture, lifestyle, LGBTQ+, BIPOC communities and more in Salt Lake City.

It's always been on my design bucket list to create one of their covers. And at the end of this last year, we were given the opportunity!

From sketch to final, it was a blast and they were incredible to work with. The only real contraints we had were the idea to get across to folks, which had to be aligned with shopping local, and the colors, to match the other December issues from the past years.

We dove in to nail down the details, textures, and little elements to make it feel like our favorite town.
