Workshop - Innovating public space (2018)

Open and modular gallery-canopy type system that allows harmonizing both aesthetically and functionally the sidewalks of the commercial area at the entrance to Vicente López (on Avenue Maipú).

We received a diploma of recognition from the municipality of Vicente Lopez

Problems to solve: inefficient billboards that get in the way, inefficient awning system against rain and sun, no visual cohesion between businesses (lack of sense of belonging), no furniture to rest/wait/eat on the go, inefficient lighting.

LED lighting was added to improve visibility at night. In addition, it seeks to standardize the advertising on the canopies of the commercial premises and incorporate them into the space generated to avoid disorder and visual contamination.

Modular structures will be placed that, through a game of light-shadows, will give new meaning to the route and the experience of the pedestrian user by showing them another way of walking.
