MiLB Game Canvas

I love to think about professional sports teams as media properties, and one area where I believe that teams are underutilized as such is in minor league baseball. While most people living in a baseball town are generally aware of the existence of a minor league team, they're almost certainly unaware of where that team sits within the greater baseball ecosystem. One way of providing context is to utilize an infinite canvas interaction to map out the the MiLB ecosystem (R, A, High-A, AA, AAA) and allow users to explore teams by league or affiliation.

Being media properties, streaming is an obvious cornerstone to the experience, and users have the ability to hop in and out of different games within the canvas, or expand to full screen and focus in on a single game. Merchandising is typically a large part of revenue generation for MiLB teams, so an e-commerce activation is woven in to the experience, enabling fans to purchase the items that they're seeing players wear on the field.
