Floating in Space

I’ve struggled for quite a while to build a color palette I’m happy with in Procreate, it would stop me in my tracks when working on new illustrations. I decided to combine the confidence and established process I already have in illustrator with the process I’m trying to build when using Procreate, I made a mock of the composition based on a cleaned-up sketch and the used illustrators powerful recoloring capabilities to build a color palette I was happy with. It took away such a huge part of anxiety from the process! I love where this illustration turned out. It’s exciting to build new practices and pull from old ones, everyone’s process is different and unique, I’m excited to have cracked this part of my journey!
