Almond Surfboards 14-Year Anniversary Illustration

The dudes over at Almond Surfboards asked me to illustrate a social post/graphic for their 14-year anniversary. Crazy to see this project even come into my reach.

Some 8 years ago, I was young into my professional creative journey, dreaming of working with action sports brands and more specifically, surf brands. And now, here we are!

I’ve had too many moments of doubt (and I still do) and moments of convincing myself I am talented enough. My wife and I even took a Hail Mary move across the country to put myself in the same radius and rooms with the right people, doing rad things.

This project isn’t just an illustration for a great surfboard company that I’ve loved for years. This project is part of the dream to work with rad people doing rad things, starting to gain momentum.
