Pet Illustration for the Humane Society of Bay County
Home. Forever.
The Humane Society of Bay County was looking for an illustration that reflected their 2023 theme “Home. Forever.” Their goal is to reinforce the idea that pets are living, breathing, beings, that depend on us to live and thrive. They wanted the illustration to help educate people that getting a pet is a lifetime commitment and pets are not commodities.
The final illustration was created with multiple background colors in mind, and with the flexibility to print on large merchandise such as blankets, as well as smaller items such as mugs.
To illustrate the theme of “Home. Forever.”, I put together some imagery of happy cozy animals sleeping. I wanted to communicate the ideas of safety, security, and happiness through the illustration.
