User-friendly applicant management system (ATS) design

Refline AG is a Software Company. Their Saas solution "Refline" offers an intuitive and user-friendly applicant management system (ATS) - like a CRM for applications. Companies can create optimised job ads using an editor, publish the jobs on their career site as well as on job boards and efficiently screen, manage and hire incoming applications. The target group are recruiters and HR managers as well as line managers who are recruiting for a vacancy.

Goals

The project is to redesign the Saas web application, i.e. to "beautify" and modernise it.

Solutions

1. Improving user experience:

By optimizing the visual appearance of the product, Refline can make it easier and more enjoyable for users to interact with. This can lead to higher engagement rates, increased user satisfaction, and potentially more referrals or positive reviews.

2. Increasing brand appeal

A well-designed product can help Refline establish a stronger brand identity and stand out from competitors. This can help attract new users and retain existing ones, as well as potentially lead to more media coverage or partnerships.

3. Boosting conversion rates

A more visually appealing and user-friendly product can help increase the likelihood of users converting into paying customers. This can have a direct impact on Refline's revenue and growth potential.

4. Streamlining development

A redesign can also be an opportunity to optimize the product's underlying code and design system. This can help reduce technical debt, improve scalability, and make it easier to add new features or iterate on existing ones in the future.

Result

As a result, the client got a new look for their application, a design system prepared for further development and scalability, and an interactive presentation to show their customers effectively.
