#98 Teach For America

Country: United States

Industry: education

About: Teach for America (TFA) is a non-profit organization that aims to provide quality education to underserved communities in the United States. The organization aims to accomplish this by recruiting and selecting college graduates from top universities around the United States to serve as teachers in one of the 52 low-income communities that the organization serves. TFA was founded by Wendy Kopp based on her 1989 Princeton University undergraduate thesis.

Mission: to "enlist, develop, and mobilize as many as possible of our nation's most promising future leaders to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence".

Words: diversity; justice; energy

Strategy: the logo incorporates a more playful and energetic design, with the letters "T" and "A" forming both a stylized tree and an arrow pointing to the sky. The tree symbolizes growth and development, while the arrow represents the organization's commitment to progress and change. The bright colors show the energy and enthusiasm of Teach for America's teachers and students.
