File Management & Cloud Storage Drive Dashboard

Task
We want to get a feeling for your design style with this bit of exercise.
• We’re developing a web app that has an asset library section that contains PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, PDFs, images, and icons
• The assets are stored in the cloud and displayed on demand - the app is accessible through a browser.
• Through this web app, a user can access and use centrally located presentations, documents, PDFs, images, and icons in their daily work.
• This solution targets medium and large companies that may need a central repository like this where their employees can find and use brand-compliant assets (e.g. always using the right colors or icons in their presentations or documents)
• We would like you to design the home screen of this web app where the user can see Folders and Assets
Folders
can be opened by the user and may contain more assets or folders (like in e.g. Windows Explorer) → opening a folder is not part of the task scope
Assets (presentations, documents, PDFs, images, and icons)
• You can also add search, filter, breadcrumb, profile, etc. - whichever feature you feel the home screen needs for a better user experience.
• Feel free to put everything on one screen or to split it up into several, depending on what you believe makes the most sense. Also, feel free to add any other elements you think might be relevant to this screen.
