"Trust"ero uses the protocol of Trystero which is a purely JavaScript webRTC matchmaking system. This allows trustless peer to peer services. There is no external dependencies and no servers. The advantages are that you can audit and trust the code and fully eliminate the need for central servers making this a true decentralized chat. The chat rooms are completely private and password protected. They are generated based on the users public keys.
