The chat page in a web application usually contains the following elements:

Message Window: This is the main area where all messages are displayed in chronological order. Here users can see all previous messages as well as new incoming messages.

Text entry box: This is where users can enter their messages. It is usually located at the bottom of the page or at the bottom of the message window. In this field, the user can write the text of the message and send it.

Send Button: Next to the text entry field, there is usually a "Send" button or an icon that the user can click to send their message. When this button is clicked, the user's message appears in the message window for all chat participants.

Chat participant display interface: The chat interface can display information about other chat participants, such as their names or photos. This can help users know who is in the chat and help them distinguish between messages from different participants.

Notifications of new messages: To keep users informed of new messages, a notification mechanism is usually present. This can be an audible notification, a flashing icon, or other visual indication of new messages.

Chat Options: Depending on the functionality of the application, various options may be available on the chat page. For example, users may have the ability to create group chats, send files, use emoji or stickers, share the screen, etc.

Chat history: Some web-based chat applications may provide the ability to view the history of previous messages so that users can scroll through and re-read old messages.

Pop-up notifications: When a user receives a new message or when an important event occurs in a chat room (for example, someone joins or leaves the chat room), pop-up notifications may appear on the screen to catch the user's attention.
