Science Challenge Badges

We worked on a web app for a science competition for middle school students. These were some of the badges I made for the individual challenges that the kids participated in. Hopefully they’ll re-spark some fun, science-y memories from your day in science class.

They're implemented in SVG and some are animated.

I don’t often work on icons/illustration, so this was pretty fun for me. Science + design + being a kid again? What’s better than that?

The Helix Cup is a new annual competition designed by founders of the biotechnology industry: Genentech, to engage middle school students in South San Francisco, California to develop problem solving, teamwork, and hands-on science skills.
