Independence Day
Intro
Hello folks, happy 4th of July to everyone and all my US patriots :)
This is an animation I made almost two weeks ago and decided to publish it over here.
This animation was made with aftereffect and, fun fact about this style is that you don't actually need a pixelated design in first place! all you need is a built in effect, however in much bigger projects with good amount of time, it is better to design a pixelated illustration and then proceed with animation.
Below you can see one of turned down concepts of this animation. In this concept I avoided using posterize effect so it is smooth.
How to
In order to have something like this you need 2 essential effects, for pixel look you need block effect, and for low frame playback you need posterize effect, keep in mind that your composition must be either 30 frames or 24 frames, some may choose 60 by default and that's the big mistake. apply these effects on an adjustment layer and render your animation!
