Smart Filters: Delightful Dish Discovery
Problem Statement
The absence of effective filters limited customers' ability to find specific dishes that catered to their dietary preferences, taste preferences, and other relevant requirements. This lack of customization hindered the overall user experience and impeded the app's ability to retain and convert customers effectively.
Solution
To address the aforementioned problem, a set of filters was developed to enable customers to explore and select use cases that were previously not handled on the app. The implemented filters included options such as Top rated, Bestseller, Chef's favorite, Fast preparation, Spicy, Healthy, No onion or garlic, Kid-friendly, Gluten-free, High Protein, Vegan, Low Calorie, and more. These filters provided users with a wide range of options to refine their search and find dishes that align with their specific preferences.
