We had the pleasure of working with Lilly Pulitzer to create their iOS app. Albeit a small detail, we feel this improvement on the usual fit scale is important to helping users feel confident purchasing.
The fit scale is commonly shown like a volume slider, with small on the left, and large on the right with no indication of correct fit. We wanted the fit scale to actually look like it feels by tapering the slider bar, and using variably sized circles to indicate garment fit. We also included a midpoint to mark the correct fit and the subsequent offset.
