I had the exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project within the realm of decentralized finance (DeFi) – Sandclock.org. As a yield-generating platform, Sandclock.org enables users to earn on their stablecoins and allocate their yield to various purposes, such as keeping it, giving to charities, or reinvesting it. My role in this project was to explore the concept of an autonomous wealth management platform, seamlessly integrated into their native platform.

Objective

The main objective of this project was to design and develop an innovative and user-centric platform for Sandclock.org, a yield-generating DeFi platform. Sandclock enables users to earn on their stablecoins and allocate their yield to keep, give to charities, or reinvest. The specific focus of this project was to explore the concept of an autonomous wealth management platform on their native platform. The design aimed to align with the organization's vision of empowering users to make the most out of their assets while contributing to charitable causes.

Approach

Given the exciting nature of the project and its place within the DeFi space, I recognized the importance of understanding the platform's unique features and user expectations. I collaborated closely with the Sandclock team to gain insights into their vision and business objectives.

To explore the concept of an autonomous wealth management platform, I conducted in-depth research on DeFi protocols and decentralized wealth management solutions. This research allowed me to identify potential opportunities and challenges and informed the design direction.

Throughout the design process, regular feedback sessions were held with the Sandclock team to ensure that the design aligned with their vision and the requirements of their user base. This iterative approach enabled us to refine the design continuously.

Solution

The final design solution presented an autonomous wealth management platform concept integrated seamlessly into the Sandclock.org platform. Leveraging the existing yield-generating capabilities, the autonomous wealth management feature empowered users to take control of their assets while offering flexibility in allocating yields.

The onboarding process was optimized to make it effortless for users to start earning on their stablecoins and participating in the autonomous wealth management platform. A user-friendly interface guided users through the setup process, allowing them to make informed decisions on how to allocate their earnings.

The visually engaging user interface was designed with a focus on simplicity and clarity, ensuring easy navigation through the platform. Users were provided with clear information on how their assets were working for them, including options to support charitable causes or reinvest.

Conclusion

The Sandclock.org product design successfully explored and integrated the concept of an autonomous wealth management platform into their yield-generating DeFi platform.
