Website for unique fine art NFT sculptures
We designed a website for the NFT sculptors, Michelangelo Labs.
About client
Michelangelo Labs are the first high-end, 3D-printing, master NFT makers. They believe NFT and crypto are the catalysts for the blossoming of art, science, and technology. Thus, they are creating fine art sculptures to bridge the gap between the digital and the physical world.
The first edition of the NFT collection includes 200 sculptures and the goal is to evolve the NFT space and provide a gateway to mainstream adoption.
About project
Dark, classy, premium, and bold were the keywords that guided our design language. We aimed to create an immersive website that would place users in a digital museum. To further support the gallery feel, we implemented a live 3D model of the sculpture that users can interact with.
The main focus of the website is on the 3D model of the sculpture. The client provided us with the 3D model so our task was to work on the lighting and the way website visitors interact with it.Â
We drew inspiration from museum photographs and researched how the gallery interiors were arranged which helped us come up with a color palette and typography. Since this is a blockchain project, we decided to use abstract visual elements to highlight some sections.Â
