The client envisioned an elaborate design that captures the unique brand personality of Mordant & Ash.

🛡️ I created a heraldic achievement consisting of the crest, helm, mantling, escutcheon, and motto.

It features

∙ the ouroboros, a gnostic/alchemical symbol expressing the unity of all things

∙ the black sun, an ancient Nordic symbol of esoteric or occult significance

∙ the serpent nowed, a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and defiance

∙ per bend sinister rayonni, a line of partition resembling the sun’s rays
