HEMA app

HEMA is a well-known department store in the Netherlands. I had the opportunity to work on this project for over a year, together with Fabrique and Q42. The main focus was the design of the app, the branding and design system.

My role on this project as a freelance designer was to establish the Design System, shape the UI, and optimize the UX. Interactions were crucial in this, to assist users in the most effective way possible.

At HEMA, we consider accessibility important. We continuously tested with users, including those with limitations such as visual impairments and color blindness, to make the app as user-friendly as possible.
