Lego R2D2

Playing with Gravit Designer today. Not sure why, but wanted to experiment a little bit with a semi-flat illustration style this time, and... what could be a better subject than Star Wars and Lego?! :-)

As a side-note, I should probably mention that Gravit was quite stable and the performance was excellent -- I was starting to feel right at home, almost as if I was using one of my other all-time favorite tools for illustration -- Fireworks! What's more, when the illustration was ready, I tried to export it to SVG, and the R2D2 SVG rendered by the browser was nearly a perfect copy. Nice.

(As to the reference, if someone's curious, I used my own Lego R2D figure. I think it's the first piece of Lego I have ever owned!)
