MartianView

MartianView is a video production company based in Houston. Embracing their namesake, the team explores video production from a unique perspective, similar to a Martian visiting Earth.

To create their brand mark, we employed intersecting geometrical shapes. Inspired by Asimovian era book covers, their symbol depicts an astronaut helmet with a visor that reflects their view.

This geometry enabled us to create the animated version of the logo that would be used in the opening of their longer format content. The visuals are paired with the sound of a camera lens shutter for each transition.

We created a bespoke selection of letters based on the dimensions & angles found in the symbol. These letters are used for the company name & tagline.

We will revisit the alphabet in the coming years and transform it into a full typeface.
