03/32 – Cleveland Bandits Uniforms

Behind the Stitches

The Cleveland Bandits sport a classically-styled look to their uniforms.

The helmet is athletic yellow, the only yellow helmet in the league, with a black-white-black ABA stripe the runs down the middle and the primary bandit logo on either side. The front bumper features the city name in the same athletic block used for the numbers. The back bumper displays the script wordmark.

Both uniform tops incorporate sleeve striping. On the black home set, the same ABA helmet stripe is now bookended by two yellow stripes, mimicking the yellow base of the helmet. The white set changes things up with a ABCBA striping pattern with the yellow sandwiched in the middle. The pants use the same striping motif.

The athletic block used for the number set, built custom and inspired by Billet, is tough and gritty to reflect the blue-collar nature of Cleveland. It takes the traditional approach to this style and strips it of its serifs – leaving us with a no-frills utilitarian look.

These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
