I’m taking deep breaths as I write this.
As a designer, sharing my work has always been a hassle.
There’s this voice in the back of my head that is constantly tricking me into waiting for the perfect moment to post, telling me that my work isn’t good enough and that I need to refine it endlessly before hitting that ‘post’ button.
But you know what? I’ve come to realise that perfection is a myth; there’s no such thing as a perfect moment or design. There will always be flaws, imperfections, and things I wish I had done differently, but at the end of the day, that’s what makes it real and authentically mine.I’m not going to lie.
It’s scary, but from now on, I refuse to feel small; I’m taking that step, no matter how small, to share my creations.If you are a creative and you experience the same thing, please know that you are not alone. These feelings are natural and can be worked through over time with the right people by your side.
