First attempt at 3D

Here's my first attempt at 3D. The design is based on the Nomos Tangomat. Just trying get a feel for the software and learn some basic modeling principles. I'm not satisfied with the watch band texture. Need to find a way to make it look more like leather.

Would love some feedback from any of you who know C4D like the back of their hand on how to improve it.
