Behind the Stitches
The Aztecs' color palette is dominated by a deep carmine red and supported by black and gold trim. The satin-finished helmet is red with the primary eagle warrior logo on either side with "LA" on the front bumper and "Aztecs" on the rear.
The home top is red with black striping that loops around the shoulder and tapers off towards the cuff that is trimmed with gold. This same striping mechanic is reflected on the collar with the gold trim stopping at the Nike Vapor template detail behind the UFL shield. On the white away top, the striping remains the same but on the alternate black the striping is replaced with red and gold trim.
The pants also use this striping pattern with a single stripe trimmed in gold that tapers towards the knee.
The number set follows the typestyle from the the city name, a condensed square design, featuring letterforms with sharp wedge serifs and angled cuts.
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
