National Ocean Protection Coalition

The National Ocean Protection Coalition believes that a vibrant ocean, filled with thriving wildlife and flourishing habitats, and resilient to the effects of climate change will allow nature to sustain all people, communities, and life on earth. In 2024, NOPC embarked on a project to take their coalition’s branding to the next level. In collaboration with the Satori Agency, we created a strong brand identity to further elevate their partners, campaigns, and initiatives. NOPC's new logo is rooted in the idea of combining hands and waves, representing the convergence of our diverse coalition of partners to rally around a shared cause, to advance ocean conservation. Interlocking these hands and waves into a circular shape gives the mark movement and feels full of life and collaboration. The symbol also represented schools of fish that worked in synchronization of each other which embodies how the coalition operates. NOPC’s new tagline, “Many voices, one ocean” is inspired by the partners who are the heart of what we do, and communicates our mission to bring together people and organizations to advocate for the protection of our ocean. It expresses unity, collaboration, and partnership in a supportive and uplifting way, making a big mission feel attainable through partnership.
