Up Down Vote

We are doing away with thumbs up / down ratings and going for a more universally understood approach.

Busuu is a language learning app so our user base is, of course, one big melting pot of cultures. Gestures such as thumbs up and thumbs down can have radically different meanings depending on where you live in the world.

So the current idea is to use an up-vote / down-vote system with 'traffic light' colours to communicate the status of your vote.
