Yik Yak × Android 2016

I got the awesome opportunity to redesign the Yik Yak home feed for android. This app has come so far in my short time working here, and it's so amazing to work at a company that embraces great design on both Android and iOS.

The feed is now lighter, elements are more evenly spaced, cards are fullwidth (made this decision after reading this article ), and the app bar finally hides upon scroll.

Of course, none of this could be a reality without the amazing engineering team, so shoutout to them for putting up with my nitpicking 😂
