Horizontal Scroll Navigation (Feedback Needed)

Hi All, I am trying to spruce up the homepage on my blog. I was hoping to get some feedback on removing the hamburger button and replacing it with this horizontal scroll navigation. I already put this design front of two users so far and they preferred the hamburger button(not A/B). Weird I know. Thanks for your thoughts and time!
