What if Apple opens an API for Spotlight OSX

I created this after a discussion with @BlaBlaCar UX team about the future of the apps and the concept of "no interface".

What if Apple opens an API for Spotlight OSX? That would allow our 25 million members community to search for rides right into their OS.

Today, it's possible to find definitions on Wikipedia or to display weather forecast for a given place with Spotlight. But now, imagine the same idea for movie searching on IMDB, food ordering on @deliveroo, or venue booking on @Airbnb…
