Parisian Caslon: Fact

Having fun resetting the Fact logotype originally designed by Herb Lubalin in the current version of Parisian Caslon Head.

Now, thanks to Herb Lubalin Center, you can enjoy issues of fact directly online!

“For me, the best detail in this project is the logo Lubalin designed. It was drawn by Tom Carnase, and based on Caslon 540—with the ‘f’ slightly modified to mimic the ‘t’. But the ingenious part is the addition of the colon. It’s not part of the name, but was Lubalin’s graphic invention.”
