Design Football

I've been co-hosting a monthly meetup with Nickd called Design Football for almost a year now(!) Why is it called Design Football? What goes on at these meetups? The name came from a late-night planning session early on in the creation of the meetup, when we were looking for cheap domain names.

Did you know you can buy a .football domain name for $1? We didn't either, until we bought design.football.

So that's it, that's the whole story. There's no sports talk, there's sometimes not even that much design talk... just cool people getting together at bars across the city of Chicago, from Logan Square to Lakeview to Pilsen and everywhere in between.
