Day 1/100 — Dango

Long time no post! I've started my 100 Day Project, 100 Days of Japan, over on Instagram at my new account, Geri Draws Japan. Come follow along for the updates; in the meantime, I'll be posting the ones I've done to date here on Dribbble.

Dango (団子) is a sweet Japanese dumpling made from rice flour and often served with green tea. There are many different varieties eaten in different seasons. This multi-coloured dango, or hanami dango, is traditionally eaten during cherry blossom season in springtime and is also well-known for being an emoji! 🍡
