John Maeda's Design in Tech Report 2016 Poster

This poster was created for John Maeda's Design in Tech 2016 Report event hosted by Airbnb and sponsored by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) partners.

I took inspiration from Mr. Maeda's work with computer programming and two of his influencers: Paul Rand and Muriel Cooper.

The large pixel like shapes and progression of color from right to left eludes to the generative / progressive nature of Mr. Maeda's work. The large shapes, color fields and playful nature of the layout I took inspiration from Paul Rand and Muriel Cooper.
