Principle File 02: Natural Movements

One of the big points of motion within Google Material guidelines is to try to capture a natural movement. Gravity affects elements and objects should very rarely move in a straight line.

How do you mimic a curved motion then within Principle? You manipulate the X and Y values within the timeline.

Going up? Offset the Y value by .02s, this way the object starts to travel on the X axis before moving upwards.

Going down? Offset the X value by .02s. Like the above, this forces the object to start it's movement on the Y axis.
