Hey there Dribbble!

Hey there Dribbble!

Long time admirer, first time publisher. So how I actually got here is a pretty interesting story. I had stumbled upon a really cool shot from @Jonathan Howell (the Code Corps branding to be exact) and decided to dive a bit deeper. The concept of CodeCorps was really intriguing, it's basically a platform where people can get together and fund and/or think up different ideas to help solve problems like health literacy, climate change awareness, obesity, education for incarcerated citizens, anyways you get the gist. While that may sound idealistic, it's something that most of us should be doing, and with a community focused on doing just that I'm sure that we could really build some great stuff together.

Anyways when trying to find out more about these guys, I used good ol' Intercom to chat with a team member that happened to be online (Josh Smith). We talked for like an hour or so about what problems there are, and how starting initatives or being philantrophic wasn't enough. One thing led to another and I ended up being invited to join their Slack channel. Josh had told me that Jonathan was actually a member, and well, I kind of got too excited too fast. A designer I admire and have been following for quite some time now is on the same team as me? Is this real? Well, yeah it was. It turned out it was also Christmas because he ended up drafting me, allowing me to write this freakishly long description.
