ARC'TERYX

ARC’TERYX is an outdoor clothing and sporting goods company founded in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1989. They are known for their high quality and often high end pricing of their gear.

I wanted to approach this concept taking the desktop online store they currently have and adapting it to a custom store app showcasing all of their unique gear in a very mobile friendly way. Taking some of the styling cues from their current site I decided to go further in layering elements including backgrounds to make the app more immersive.

I want the user to approach the design of the application as they would approach their next adventure in the wilderness. With both intrigue and adventure. Exploring all of the new elements and functionality one step at a time. Be it swiping between colors to find out which one best fits them, browsing the women’s collection for their next couples hiking adventure, or using the enhanced search functionality to find just what they’re looking for.
