Werd.com is a Southern California based blog focusing on new gear for men. They feature tech, gear, fashion, automobiles, decor, grooming products and vacations. Each feature reflects the blog’s passion for quality, craft, and style. This happens to be one of my favorite sites as it has updates by guys for guys that addresses a global audience of techies and travelers. My focus is to update their site to a 2016 level aesthetic.

The overall scrolling flow is maintained, but the graphics and functionality have been updated. The previously rounded edges are replaced with crisp corners. The top navigation bar text color has been edited to white for ease of reading. Sharing functionality of featured products is implied by adding ha “+” sign button that allows the user to quickly share to their social network of choice. The footer has also been edited to allow infinite loading of new products by clicking the “Load More Gear” button.
