YEEZY Product Page

So the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2s released last week and there was a frustrating UX issue around size selection!

I wanted to look at a few UI improvements for a rapid purchasing journey — with these selling out in minutes, you need to get a pair in your bag as soon as possible.

Firstly, you can reduce a click by showing the sizing options, rather than hiding them within a dropdown.

Secondly, you were able to select a size, complete the captcha and click ‘Add to bag’, to then find out that size was out of stock. This takes up valuable time & greatly reduces the chance of getting a pair. By highlighting the sizes out of stock (or currently reserved in other users bags) you can create a more efficient customer experience, avoiding any disappointment.

Fairly basic design decisions!
